Plumbing Apprentice - Lethbridge, Alberta

Simpson Plumbing is a leading plumbing contractor serving commercial, residential, industrial, service and agriculture clients throughout Southern Alberta. We value safety, continuous learning and high-quality workmanship. We’re looking for a motivated Plumber Apprentice who is ready to develop their skills and grow with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist journeyman plumbers on installation, repair and maintenance jobs

·         Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes

·         Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems

·         Test pipelines for leaks with air or water pressure gauges

·         Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions

·         Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

·         Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate with clients and site supervisors

·         Transport, load and unload materials, tools and equipment

·         Prepare work areas, clean up job sites and handle tools/materials

·         Follow all safety protocols, company policies and industry regulations

·         Work independently or as part of a crew, depending on project requirements

Qualifications:

·         Previous construction or plumbing experience is an asset

·         Registered in a Plumber Apprenticeship program

·         Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting, bending and kneeling

·         Comfortable working in various environments

·         Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

·         Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

·         Good communication skills and ability to work on a team
