Journeyperson Plumber - Lethbridge, Alberta

Simpson Plumbing is a leading plumbing contractor serving commercial, residential, industrial, service and agriculture clients throughout Southern Alberta. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliability, and strong customer service. We are looking for an experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems

·         Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes

·         Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions

·         Transport, load and unload materials, tools and equipment

·         Test pipelines for leaks with air or water pressure gauges

·         Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

·         Supervise apprentices and ensure work is performed to code and company standards

·         Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate with clients and site supervisors

·         Prepare work areas, clean up job sites and handle tools/materials

·         Follow all safety protocols, company policies and industry regulations

·         Work independently or as part of a crew, depending on project requirements

Qualifications:

·         Valid Alberta Journeyperson Plumber certification is required

·         Minimum 5 years of related experience

·         Gasfitter A/B certification is an asset

·         Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, building standards and best practices

·         Ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues efficiently

·         Reliable, professional and able to work with minimal supervision

·         Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting, bending and kneeling

·         Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

·         Good communication skills and ability to work on a team
