Key Responsibilities Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing production readiness. Collaborate with R&D and Design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Assembly (DFA). Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process control plans for new products. Manage and execute pilot production runs, analyze data, and implement process improvements. Specify, procure, and qualify new tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for NPI. Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for NPI-related yield and quality issues. Train production personnel on new product assembly processes and equipment operation. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. 3-5 years of experience in a New Product Introduction (NPI) or Manufacturing Engineering role. Demonstrated expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles. Proven ability to develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes and assembly instructions. Experience with specifying, procuring, and qualifying manufacturing equipment and tooling.
