Key Responsibilities Lead the development and validation of manufacturing processes for new product introductions (NPI). Collaborate with R&D and Design teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA) of new products. Define, procure, and qualify new equipment, tooling, and fixtures required for NPI. Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process control plans. Conduct pilot production runs, analyze data, and drive process optimization for NPI. Monitor initial production yields, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions during product ramp-up. Provide technical training and support to production teams on new products and manufacturing processes. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field). 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or New Product Introduction (NPI) role within a production environment. Demonstrated expertise in applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) principles. Proven ability to develop, optimize, and validate new manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for production scale-up. Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, leading NPI projects from concept to mass production. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD) for product or process optimization. Proficiency in a second language relevant to global manufacturing or supply chains.
