Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and components. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to gather market intelligence and align forecasts. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and external factors to refine demand plans. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify significant deviations, and implement corrective actions to improve future predictions. Provide key demand inputs for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Manage demand planning software tools and ensure data integrity within the forecasting system. Support new product introduction (NPI) planning by generating initial demand forecasts. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. 3+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with advanced forecasting software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, JDA) and strong Excel skills. Demonstrated understanding of statistical forecasting methodologies and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency in SQL or advanced data manipulation tools (e.g., Python for data analysis). APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Experience with advanced planning systems such as SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, or Kinaxis. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to create compelling data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
