Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and components. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to gather market intelligence and achieve consensus forecasts. Analyze forecast performance, identify root causes of forecast error, and implement corrective actions. Manage and optimize statistical forecasting models and demand planning software. Participate actively in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, presenting forecasts and assumptions. Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to optimize stock and service levels. Support new product introductions (NPIs) and promotions by developing initial demand projections. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. 3-5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning/forecasting software. Strong analytical and statistical skills, with expertise in Excel and data interpretation. Knowledge of forecasting methodologies, S&OP processes, and inventory management principles. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced statistical modeling tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS) for demand forecasting. APICS CSCP or CPIM certification. Proficiency with advanced planning systems such as SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, or Blue Yonder. Experience in forecasting for New Product Introductions (NPI) or product lifecycle management. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
