The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across St. Johns seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections. Process payroll, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end financial closing procedures. Oversee general office administration, including ordering supplies, managing equipment, and maintaining office efficiency. Provide administrative support to the manufacturing team, including scheduling, documentation, and communication. Maintain accurate financial records and generate basic financial reports for management review. Coordinate HR administrative tasks such as onboarding support and employee record management. Recommended Qualifications Demonstrated experience with full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel. Understanding of manufacturing accounting principles, including inventory management, job costing, and cost of goods sold. Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage office operations, vendor relationships, and supply chain needs. Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and perform monthly account reconciliations. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Epicor, NetSuite). Familiarity with inventory management or cost accounting principles for manufactured goods. Experience processing payroll for hourly manufacturing staff or using time tracking software. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) relevant to a production environment. Proven ability to support HR functions such as onboarding, benefits administration, or record keeping.
