Calibration Technician | Charlotte, MI Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for excelling in calibration technician? The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and complex calibrations on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation. Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality standards. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning measurement and test equipment. Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions. Ensure all calibrated equipment complies with internal quality standards, industry regulations, and ISO requirements. Manage and track the calibration schedule for all manufacturing assets to ensure timely service. Analyze calibration data to identify trends, potential issues, and recommend corrective actions. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience performing calibration and maintenance on various measurement and test equipment. Solid understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and metrology concepts. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 17025 or ANSI/NCSL Z540.1. Proficiency in using and troubleshooting a wide range of calibration standards and test equipment. Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate calibration records and utilize calibration management software. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CMMS or dedicated calibration management software. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or similar professional certification. Basic understanding of metrology principles and measurement uncertainty.
