Calibration Technician | DeWitt, MI Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience Are you ready to take on a challenging and rewarding opportunity in {{role_field}}? The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine calibration of a wide range of measurement and test equipment. Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality procedures. Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust malfunctioning instrumentation to meet specifications. Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions. Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal quality systems and external regulatory standards. Manage the calibration schedule and recall system for all plant equipment. Identify and implement improvements to calibration processes and equipment. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in metrology, electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent military/technical training. 2+ years of experience performing calibration of various test and measurement equipment. Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and metrology concepts. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, or similar. Proficiency in using calibration software and standard office applications, with strong mathematical and analytical skills. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CMMS software for calibration tracking and work orders. Familiarity with ISO 17025 accreditation standards. Basic understanding of PLC logic or industrial control systems. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics or P&IDs.
