Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize packaging solutions for new and existing products. Identify and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives for packaging. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-5+ years of experience in packaging development or engineering within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and strong knowledge of various packaging materials (plastics, paperboard, films). Familiarity with packaging testing standards (ISTA, ASTM) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, ISO). Demonstrated ability to manage packaging projects from concept to launch, optimizing designs for manufacturing efficiency. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Experience with sustainable or circular packaging design principles. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Proficiency in advanced packaging simulation software (e.g., CAPE, TOPS).
