Inspect welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards. Set up and operate welding equipment, including arc, MIG, and TIG welders. Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment malfunctions. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure proper tool maintenance. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Fabricate and assemble metal components using various welding techniques. Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in welding preferred. Proven experience with various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications. Proficiency in operating and maintaining welding equipment and associated tools. Understanding of metallurgy and welding techniques for different materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control and safety standards. Bonus Qualifications - Proficiency in advanced welding techniques like TIG or MIG. - Experience with robotic welding systems. - Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods. - Familiarity with various welding inspection tools and equipment. - Knowledge of metallurgy and material science relevant to manufacturing.
