The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Wyoming seeking experienced Weld Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform welding operations according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards. Set up and operate various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welders. Inspect and test welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards. Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime. Prepare materials and components for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and fitting. Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Record production data, including weld parameters, material used, and quality control results. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to identify and implement process improvements. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Certified Welding qualifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, or equivalent). Experience with various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications. Proficiency in performing quality inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods. Understanding of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
