The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Holland seeking Inspection Technicians who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators. Document inspection results accurately in quality management systems or inspection reports. Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment actions. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards to ensure product compliance. Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment according to established schedules and procedures. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Recommended Qualifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and dimensional defects. Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, SPC). Experience documenting inspection results and generating quality reports. High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced measurement equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems, laser scanners). ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT). Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software and data analysis. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent problem-solving training.
