Key Responsibilities Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments suchates as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators. Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records and reports. Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality control specifications to ensure compliance. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final product inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
