Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators. Document inspection results accurately in quality management systems and inspection reports. Identify and isolate non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality specifications to ensure compliance. Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
