Key Responsibilities Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs. Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records. Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products according to established procedures. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final product inspections. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality discrepancies. Recommended Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges). Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformances.
