Key Responsibilities Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs, to verify product specifications. Document inspection results accurately and completely, including acceptance/rejection status and detailed observations. Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment procedures. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality control plans to ensure compliance. Maintain inspection equipment calibration and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the inspection area. Collaborate with production and quality engineering teams to address quality issues and process improvements. Recommended Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, including GD&T. Strong understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills for identifying non-conformances.
