Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures. Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, or a related scientific field. 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations. Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and management systems. Strong leadership, communication, and training skills to foster a proactive safety culture. Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred. Bonus Qualifications Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or other advanced EHS professional certification. Proficiency with EHS management software (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex) and data analytics for EHS metrics. Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce. Experience implementing Lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies in EHS.
