The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Montague seeking Quality Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Supervise and train quality control personnel, ensuring adherence to established procedures. Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA). Oversee inspection processes for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. Investigate quality non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Develop, maintain, and update quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and inspection plans. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, report on performance, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing processes. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment. 1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience. Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D). Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification. Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
