The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allendale that are seeking skilled Quality Engineers. Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Monitor and analyze production processes and product data to identify areas for quality improvement. Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO, IATF). Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality into product design and manufacturing. Manage and maintain quality documentation, including FMEAs, control plans, and inspection reports. Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring quality requirements are met from design to launch. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D). Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100). Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective actions. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant ASQ certification. Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 13485, AS9100). Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP. Internal or external quality auditing experience.
