As a Waiter, you’ll support the smooth running of breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and cared for. Your day to day People Assist in providing excellent service to guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, tailoring attention to their needs. Help set up and prepare the dining area for daily service and special events. Support the Head Waiter and team in maintaining high standards of service. Respond politely and efficiently to guest queries or requests. Wear your uniform with pride and represent the hotel’s standards of professionalism. Take on other duties as needed to support the team, particularly during peak times or events. Operations & Safety: Assist in keeping the dining area clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times. Follow hygiene and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Help with clearing tables, washing up, and maintaining service equipment. Monitor stock levels of cutlery, crockery, and service equipment, reporting shortages as needed. Support event set-ups, including arranging tables, chairs, and buffet areas when required. Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent, high-quality service under the guidance of the Head Waiter. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service. Assist in training and guiding new team members when necessary. Help manage reservations and guest seating during busy periods. Communicate effectively with the team about daily specials, menu changes, or guest preferences. Contribute to creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.
