Business Development Manager (Air Freight)

Position Information: Location: Hanoi / Hai Phong Department: Sales & Business Development Reports to: Head of Sales / Branch Manager Role Purpose: The Air Freight Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sustainable air freight growth in North Vietnam. The role focuses on developing high-value, time-critical cargo segments and building profitable, repeatable air volume through integrated logistics solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Air Freight Business Development Develop new air import & export customers across North Vietnam. Target key industries: Electronics, Automotive, Solar & Energy, Garment & Footwear, Machinery. Build regular weekly/monthly air cargo flow and long-term customer portfolio. Ensure profitable gross margin and controlled credit terms. 2. Solution Selling & Product Development Design and promote customized air solutions: eco-air, express, priority, hand-carry, charter, AOG. Bundle air freight with customs brokerage, domestic trucking, and cross-border transport. Work closely with operations to ensure service reliability and SOP compliance. 3. Commercial Governance Own personal GP and volume targets. Maintain pipeline accuracy and sales forecasting. Protect margins and avoid rate-driven selling practices. Requirements: 3–7 years of air freight sales experience in Vietnam. Strong airline and agent network. Proven track record in solution-based selling. Strong negotiation and commercial mindset.
