**Medical Front Desk Receptionist**

Join our healthcare team as a dedicated Medical Front Desk Receptionist, where you will serve as the initial contact point for our medical facility. In this role, you'll handle daily reception tasks and offer administrative support across the organization. Your warm presence and organizational skills will keep our front office operations running smoothly.

**Responsibilities:**
- Offer a warm welcome to patients and visitors upon their arrival at the clinic.
- Actively assist healthcare providers, staff, patients, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Process copayments accurately and confirm patient insurance details.
- Guide visitors to their destination within the clinic efficiently.
- Manage inbound calls with professionalism; redirect or take messages as required.
- Ensure that the reception space is tidy and stocked with necessary materials like pens and medical forms.
- Provide correct information face-to-face or via phone/email with clarity.
- Comply strictly with HIPAA guidelines in all responsibilities.
- Handle mail/deliveries; sort and distribute them appropriately within the clinic.
- Uphold security by following protocols at the reception desk (e.g., logging visits, issuing badges).
- Keep track of office supplies inventory; place orders when necessary to avoid shortages.
- Manage appointment calendars for healthcare providers; assist in organizing meetings when needed.

**Qualifications:**
1+ year(s) experience as a receptionist or similar role—preferably in a medical setting
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using office machinery (fax machines, printers etc.)
Professional demeanor; excellent presentation
Effective communication skills—both written & verbal
Resourcefulness in addressing unexpected issues or challenges
Exceptional organizational abilities
Competent multitasker capable of setting priorities amidst multiple demands
Customer-focused mindset

Education:
Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Additional qualifications include familiarity with medical jargon and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.

**Job Details:**
Type: Full-Time/Part-Time from Monday to Friday

Compensation:
$12.50 - $14.00 per hour depending on experience
