About Us:
Shisa, Corporation currently operates a transitional community release center, Shisa House West, in Tallahassee, Florida since 1999. Shisa House West is a Community Release Center (CRC) for female inmates under contract with The State of Florida, Department of Corrections.
The Position:
Assistant to Facility Director in the operation of Shisa House West ensuring that all contractual requirements pertaining to the facility operation and inmates entrusted therein are met.
· Responsible for custody of female inmates while housed at Shisa House West
· Assists with employer partnership with Shisa House West for inmate job placement
¨ Ensures 24 hour, seven-day week staff coverage
¨ Conducts training sessions and gives on-the-job training for all personnel in operating procedures
