Shisa, Corporation currently operates a transitional community release center, Shisa House West, in Tallahassee, Florida since 1999. Shisa House West is a Community Release Center (CRC) for female inmates under contract with The State of Florida, Department of Corrections.
The Position:
The Facility Director maintains responsibility for the overall operation of Shisa House West ensuring that all contractual requirements pertaining to the facility operation and inmates entrusted therein are met.
· Responsible for custody of female inmates while housed at Shisa House West
· Oversees employer partnership with Shisa House West for inmate job placement
· Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of employees that will enable them to perform assigned duties following the standards set by Shisa Inc. and the Florida Department of Corrections.
