Role Overview:

The Activity Assistant at Parc Provence plays a key role in executing the daily engagement schedule and supporting residents in their everyday activities. This position also acts as an ambassador of Parc Provence to our residents, their visitors, families, and the surrounding community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize or aid in leading activities and engage actively with participants.

• Prepare and tidy up activity spaces, ensuring all materials are stored correctly.

• Escort residents to various events within the community.

• Adhere to daily task lists while monitoring resident involvement during programs.

• Collaborate with the memory care team to enhance resident health and happiness.

• Support personalized activity-based initiatives.

• Distribute meals and help feed residents following established procedures.

• Carry out other tasks as needed or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Deep compassion for elderly care

• Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia is advantageous

• Capability to deliver exceptional service; maintain professionalism, warmth, and empathy consistently
