Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed and empathetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to become part of our team. The RBT will operate under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver effective behavioral support to clients with developmental challenges, mainly Autism Spectrum Disorder. As an in-home service provider, all sessions occur at the client's residence.

Primary Duties:

  • Execute customized treatment programs and behavior intervention methods as outlined by the BCBA.

  • Consistently track and document client behavior data accurately during therapy.

  • Assist in performing evaluations, such as preference assessments and skill analyses.

  • Work together with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in client care for seamless support delivery.

  • Actively engage in training sessions, team meetings, and supervision with the BCBA.

  • Safeguard all client information following HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related discipline is preferred.

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

  • Previous experience working with individuals having developmental disabilities is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

  • Ability to rigorously follow ethical guidelines established by BACB standards.

  • Detail-oriented approach necessary for precise data collection and documentation processes.

  • Physical capability needed for engaging activities such as sitting on the floor during therapy sessions.
