Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality behavioral interventions to clients with developmental disabilities, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are an in-home agency so all services are in the patient's home.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies as developed by the BCBA.
Record and collect data on client behavior accurately and consistently during sessions.
Assist in conducting assessments, including preference assessments, functional analyses, and skill assessments.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure continuity of support.
Participate actively in training sessions, team meetings, and supervision with the BCBA.
Maintain confidentiality of all client information according to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field preferred.
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Proven experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities is desirable.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
Ability to adhere strictly to ethical guidelines set forth by BACB standards.
Detail-oriented mindset for accurate data collection and documentation tasks.
Physical ability required for engaging in activities such as sitting on the floor during therapy sessions.
