Registered Behavior Technician

Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality behavioral interventions to clients with developmental disabilities, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are an in-home agency so all services are in the patient's home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies as developed by the BCBA.

  • Record and collect data on client behavior accurately and consistently during sessions.

  • Assist in conducting assessments, including preference assessments, functional analyses, and skill assessments.

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure continuity of support.

  • Participate actively in training sessions, team meetings, and supervision with the BCBA.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information according to HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field preferred.

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

  • Proven experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities is desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.

  • Ability to adhere strictly to ethical guidelines set forth by BACB standards.

  • Detail-oriented mindset for accurate data collection and documentation tasks.

  • Physical ability required for engaging in activities such as sitting on the floor during therapy sessions.
