Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed and empathetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to become part of our team. The RBT will operate under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver effective behavioral support to individuals with developmental disorders, with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role involves providing services within clients' homes.
Primary Duties:
Implement customized treatment plans and behavioral strategies as outlined by the BCBA.
Accurately track and record client behaviors consistently throughout sessions.
Support the execution of various assessments, including preference evaluations, functional analyses, and skill testing.
Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in client care to ensure cohesive support.
Actively engage in training programs, team discussions, and supervision meetings with the BCBA.
Ensure all client information remains confidential in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related area is preferred.
Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Previous experience working with individuals having developmental disabilities is advantageous.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
Strong commitment to adhering to ethical principles as per BACB standards.
Detail-oriented approach for precise data gathering and documentation tasks.
Physical capability needed for activities such as sitting on the floor during therapy sessions.
