Registered Behavior Technician

Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Los Fresnos, Texas

Position Summary: We are looking for a committed and empathetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to become part of our team. The RBT will operate under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), delivering effective behavioral interventions to individuals with developmental challenges, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder. As an in-home service provider, all sessions take place in the client's residence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement personalized treatment plans and behavior strategies as outlined by the BCBA.

  • Accurately document and track client behavior data consistently throughout sessions.

  • Support assessments, including preference evaluations, functional analyses, and skill assessments.

  • Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in client care to ensure seamless support.

  • Actively participate in training sessions, team discussions, and supervision meetings with the BCBA.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information as per HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field is preferred.

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the BACB required.

  • Experience working with children or adults who have developmental disabilities is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills essential for effective collaboration with clients’ families and team members.

  • Ability to rigorously adhere to ethical guidelines established by BACB standards.

  • Attention to detail necessary for accurate data collection and documentation tasks.

  • Physical capability needed for participating in activities such as sitting on the floor during therapy sessions.
