Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in identifying, sourcing, and ordering parts for heavy-duty trucks while providing excellent service at the counter and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with parts inquiries and orders

• Accurately identify parts using manufacturer catalogs and systems

• Process sales transactions, invoices, and returns

• Maintain organized inventory and stock levels

• Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely parts availability

• Promote current parts specials and upsell when appropriate

• Ensure a clean, professional, and customer-friendly parts counter area

Qualifications:

• 3 year previous experience in heavy-duty truck parts, automotive parts, or related field preferred

• Knowledge of Mack and Volvo truck parts is a strong plus

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with parts management systems

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
