Licensed Physical Therapist

Position Overview: We seek a committed and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to become part of our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about assisting patients in restoring their strength, mobility, and independence through personalized therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs by reviewing medical histories and performing physical evaluations.

  • Develop individualized therapy plans aimed at achieving specific goals.

  • Deliver hands-on physical therapy using exercises, manual techniques, equipment, or treatment protocols.

  • Educate patients on therapeutic exercises for self-practice between sessions.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments provided, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility for licensure upon hire is necessary.

  • Proven experience in developing effective treatment programs tailored to individual client needs.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate patients about their conditions and therapies.

  • Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
