CMF Designer in Gothenburg

Job Specification: CMF Designer

Responsibilities:

• Develop CMF concepts and prototypes with Material Specialists and the trim shop.
• Design graphics and patterns for interior and exterior applications.
• Produce detailed design solutions meeting technical criteria, collaborating with other design disciplines.
• Conduct benchmark research with a fact-based approach.
• Create and manage CMF definition documents, ensuring alignment with design gateways and plans.
• Prepare and present both physical and digital presentations for design reviews.
• Represent CMF in project and engineering meetings.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including R&D, Project, and Marketing teams in China.
• Contribute to CMF community activities, workshops, and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Textile/Fashion Design, or Fine Arts.
• 2-5 years of experience in industrial, product, fashion/textile, or transportation design. Experience in sustainability and research is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of design processes, methodology, and CMF development.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and visual.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and VRED; familiarity with Substance, Key Shot, and Rhino is advantageous.
