Virtual Associate Attorney - Collection and litigation

Our client is seeking a Associate Attorney to assist with Collection and Litigation Matters. This is a Virtual role but must reside in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah or Washington. Must be licensed to Practice in California but can live in any previously mentioned states! to practice on the West Coast. This is a remote position with travel as required. Applicants must be licensed in Texas, Arizona, Nevada, or California.

Salary: $90k-$110k

Duties:

• Handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters.

• Attend court hearings (both remotely and in person when needed)

• Prepare and argue motions for Summary.

• Manage assigned caseload.

• Handle time-sensitive matters as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

• Admission to practice law in the state of California.

• Experience with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is a plus but not required.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent research skills.

• Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.

• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

• Analytical and detail oriented.
