Mold Maintenance Technician

We're hiring a Tooling Technician III to join our skilled team in Chatham, NY. What You'll Do:

• Perform advanced machining tasks including milling, lathe turning, precision grinding, and fine polishing

• Use metrology equipment to inspect and document tooling accuracy

• Read and interpret mold prints, 3D renderings, and schematics

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (valve gate, hot runner, motors, etc.)

• Support mold setups and preventative maintenance in alignment with production schedules

• Collaborate closely with processing, maintenance, and production teams to ensure efficiency

• Document mold assembly procedures and updates within the IQMS system

• Adhere to and help improve safety and housekeeping standards

What You Bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a machine shop or mold maintenance environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Working knowledge of electrical circuits, hydraulics, and metrology equipment

• Proficiency with Windows-based programs

• Welding experience (MIG/TIG) is a plus

• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
