HSC Teacher | Harrow | September Start

About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable HSC Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Harrow from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal HSC Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 4. We are looking for a dedicated HSC Teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging HSC Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
  • Develop students' understanding of health and social care principles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the HSC curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead HSC-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Health and Social Care.
  • Proven experience in teaching HSC at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of health and social care.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
