About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable HSC Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Harrow from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal HSC Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 4. We are looking for a dedicated HSC Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging HSC Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
- Develop students' understanding of health and social care principles.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the HSC curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead HSC-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Health and Social Care.
- Proven experience in teaching HSC at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of health and social care.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
