Chemistry Teacher – Kingston Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston requires a skilled and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join their Science department. This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily focused on teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons that meet curriculum requirements and exam specifications.
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes scientific inquiry.
- Assess student understanding regularly and provide effective feedback.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Chemistry curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department.
- Teaching at an Outstanding level
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, including A-Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for chemistry.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion to teach Chemistry
