Chemistry Teacher – Kingston Secondary School

An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston requires a skilled and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join their Science department. This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily focused on teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons that meet curriculum requirements and exam specifications.
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes scientific inquiry.
• Assess student understanding regularly and provide effective feedback.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the Chemistry curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department.
• Teaching at an Outstanding level

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, including A-Level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for chemistry.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A passion to teach Chemistry
