Proposal Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer

ISS International SpA is looking for a Proposal Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer in Abu Dhabi.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical-commercial background and excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively promote our products and services to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand clients' needs in detail and support the sales team in managing customer relationships, structuring the best possible sales proposals.
• Analyze clients' technical specifications and requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals in response to customer requests.
• Participate in technical alignment meetings to refine and optimize proposals.
• Manage information received from clients to ensure accurate and competitive quotations.
• Support technical discussions with clients during the offer preparation phase.
• Evaluate costs and prepare pricing estimates.
• Oversee the entire proposal development process as a Proposal Project Manager, from initial request analysis to the definition of customized technical-commercial solutions.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders, including the sales team, clients, and production department.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
• Maintain strong client relationships, gathering and reporting feedback to relevant departments.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, including international markets.
• Define sales objectives and establish key performance indicators to monitor progress.
• Plan and forecast costs and timelines for commercial activities.
• Follow up on submitted proposals, conduct client and agent visits (including international travel).
• Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events.
• Be available for business travel, including visits to the company’s international offices.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of experience in a Proposal Engineer role is a plus.
