Role: Science Teacher
Nature: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance
An innovative and supportive alternative provision in Haringey is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will inspire and support students to develop a love of science and reach their full potential.
Role Highlights:
- Teach engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Differentiate and adapt the curriculum to meet the specific needs of students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges
- Build positive relationships with students to foster trust, respect, and engagement in learning
- Work alongside a dedicated team of staff, including SEN professionals, to provide holistic support for students
- Encourage students’ academic and personal growth through tailored teaching strategies
- Contribute to the inclusive and supportive ethos of the alternative provision
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- A passion for working with students who may have additional needs, including SEMH
- Strong behavior management skills and a patient, empathetic approach
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students with diverse needs
- Enhanced DBS check required
