Science Teacher – Outstanding School in Reading (ECT’s Welcome)

About the Role

As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
  • Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Contributing to the Science department's curriculum development and resource creation.
  • Directing and producing school productions.
  • Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school.
  • Participating in relevant professional development opportunities.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Science related Degree
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Science Teacher

Salary

The salary for this Science Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
