A leading Independent school in Brent is looking for a Design & Technology Teacher to join their high-achieving faculty. This part-time, permanent role starts in April 2025, offering the opportunity to teach DT up to KS5, helping students develop technical skills and creative confidence.

Responsibilities

• Teach DT across KS3, KS4, and KS5, integrating traditional and contemporary design techniques
• Guide students through GCSE and A-Level coursework, refining their problem-solving abilities
• Foster innovation through engineering principles, material analysis, and digital fabrication
• Work collaboratively to enhance and develop the DT curriculum
• Support extracurricular activities such as tech fairs, robotics clubs, and hands-on maker sessions

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching DT up to KS5
