KS1 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver innovative and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of KS1 children.
- Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to learn.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear learning objectives.
- Encourage children to develop independence, creativity, and a love of learning.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure that the curriculum is delivered effectively and creatively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress and well-being.
- Take part in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities to contribute to the overall success of the school.
KS1 Teacher Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally with a focus on Year 1 or 2.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
- Passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible, team-player who is eager to collaborate and grow professionally.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and high teaching standards.
