Purchasing Staff (Equipment)

Key Responsibilities: Source and evaluate suppliers for machinery, production equipment, tooling and spare parts. Manage RFQ/RFP process, including technical clarification and commercial comparison. Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance teams to understand technical requirements and specifications. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedule, warranty and after-sales service agreements. Issue purchase orders for machinery, equipment, spare parts and related technical services. Follow up on production progress, shipment and delivery of equipment to ensure on-time installation. Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers during installation, commissioning and acceptance of equipment. Support import procedures and logistics coordination for equipment (if applicable). Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery and service responsiveness. Analyze and optimize procurement costs, focusing on total cost of ownership (TCO) and investment efficiency. Maintain procurement records, contracts and supplier database. Prepare reports on procurement status, cost and supplier performance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields. Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation) is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably machinery/equipment procurement in manufacturing environment. Good understanding of equipment sourcing and procurement processes. Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings is a plus. Strong negotiation and commercial mindset. Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken). Familiar with import procedures and equipment procurement is an advantage. Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and coordination skills. Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks. Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
