Senior Director, Physician Services – Multi-Site Operations (Las Cruces, NM)

Our client is seeking a Senior Director, Physician Services , to provide strategic and operational leadership for a multi‑site employed physician group. This role oversees practice operations, financial performance, provider integration, and the development of practice management talent. The position is ideal for a seasoned healthcare operations leader who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys building scalable systems that support high‑quality patient care. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | Relocation Assistance: Limited or negotiable based on candidate experience Requirements: Operational & Financial Leadership Provide executive‑level oversight for physician practice operations across multiple locations. Ensure efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and consistent operational standards. Lead annual operating and capital budgeting processes; monitor performance and implement corrective action plans. Oversee EMR optimization efforts and support initiatives that improve quality, outcomes, and productivity. Physician Integration & Practice Growth Support the onboarding and integration of employed physicians into the organization's delivery system. Participate in due diligence for practice acquisitions and coordinate post‑acquisition operational planning. Lead start‑up activities for new practices, ensuring smooth operational launch and alignment with organizational goals. Leadership & Talent Development Supervise and develop Market Directors, Market Managers, and practice management staff. Implement training, orientation, and professional development programs for new leaders and providers. Conduct practice site visits to assess performance, identify opportunities, and strengthen relationships with physicians and staff. Strategic Initiatives & Collaboration Translate organizational strategies into operational plans for physician services. Serve as a liaison between practice operations, hospital leadership, and corporate teams. Recommend and implement operational improvements to enhance service line performance. Maintain accurate systems for reporting, documentation, and compliance. Qualifications/Must-Haves: Ability to relocate to the Las Cruces, NM area within 45 days. Ability to travel locally to outreach locations (generally under 50 miles) Bachelor's degree and completion of a program in Health Care Management or Business Administration. 10+ years of experience managing physician practices or multi‑site ambulatory operations. Preferred Skills: Ability to relocate within 30 days. Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Experience leading multi‑market physician practice operations within a structured health system.
