Associate Attorney - Landlord-Tenant / Creditors' Rights

The firm would prefer this position to be on-site or hybrid. Note: To be considered, you must be licensed to practice law in Tennessee. Candidates with a couple years of experience are preferred, and courtroom experience — especially in landlord-tenant or eviction matters — is a major plus. Job Description Represent clients in court throughout the state of Tennessee Prepare, draft, and revise pleadings, motions, notices, and other legal documents Assist with landlord-tenant, eviction, foreclosure, replevin, bankruptcy, collections, and general litigation matters Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, status updates, and legal issues Conduct legal research and analyze legal issues affecting active matters Negotiate settlements and help resolve disputes efficiently Work closely with attorneys and staff across the firm as needed Ensure files are handled in compliance with legal standards, court rules, and deadlines Qualifications J.D. required Licensed to practice law in Tennessee 2+ years of legal experience preferred Courtroom experience strongly preferred Landlord-tenant and eviction experience is a strong plus Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Admission to the District Courts of Tennessee is a plus Why You'll Love Working Here Wide variety of substantive legal work Strong exposure to courtroom appearances and client interaction Flexible, casual, and collaborative office environment Clear opportunity to grow as a well-rounded litigation attorney Strong benefits package and long-term upside JPC-833 Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance
