This is a primarily on-site role with flexibility built in due to court appearances, depositions, and case-related travel. Attorneys have autonomy over their schedules while maintaining a collaborative office presence. Note: To be considered, you must be actively licensed in Utah and have 4+ years of litigation experience. Experience in medical malpractice defense or healthcare law is required. Job Description Represent clients in litigation matters from pre-trial through trial Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, briefs, and other legal documents Attend hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings Conduct legal research, case analysis, and strategic evaluation Collaborate with associates, paralegals, and trial attorneys on case strategy Manage substantive litigation responsibilities with a high level of independence Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and communication Support business development efforts and contribute to the continued growth of the practice Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Active Utah Bar membership 4+ years of litigation experience Experience in medical malpractice defense or healthcare law Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures Strong writing, research, negotiation, and analytical skills Excellent oral advocacy and communication skills Professional, personable, and team-oriented Why You Will Love Working Here You will have the opportunity to do meaningful, high-level litigation work alongside accomplished trial attorneys in a supportive and collaborative setting.
