About the Company Our client is an established engineering firm based in Miami, Florida, seeking a licensed Project Architect to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced architect who brings strong technical knowledge, design capability, and leadership skills. The firm is looking for someone who can guide junior staff, support high-quality project delivery, and contribute to well-coordinated architectural solutions from concept through completion. About the Role The Project Architect will lead the production of architectural drawings and specifications for permit and construction, while coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure technical accuracy and design integrity. This person will play a key role in design development, problem-solving, code compliance, and construction administration. The role also includes mentoring junior architectural staff, supporting internal QA/QC efforts, and collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the life of the project. This position may supervise a small team and will report directly to the Principal in Charge of Operations. This is a full-time opportunity based in Coral Gables, Florida. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture Minimum of 10 years of experience in both design and production roles Architectural licensure required LEED accreditation is a plus Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Experience with SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Rhino, Lumion, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite Strong understanding of detailing, building systems, codes, permitting, and ADA compliance Experience producing coordinated construction documents from concept through completion Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment Prior experience with a leading U.S. or international architecture firm preferred Must be able to commute to or relocate to Coral Gables, FL 33134 before starting Benefits include: 401(k) with matching, flexible schedule, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and professional development assistance.
