Maintenance Supervisor (Manufacturing) | Hands-On | Equipment Reliability Job Summary We are hiring a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment . This role focuses on equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and preventive maintenance execution while directly supervising technicians. Ideal for a Lead Maintenance Technician ready to step up or an experienced supervisor who thrives in a working leadership role . Key Responsibilities Supervise, schedule, and coach a team of Maintenance Technicians Plan and prioritize preventive & predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and valves Reduce downtime through root cause analysis & reliability improvements Manage CMMS work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation Partner with production to meet daily output and uptime goals Support parts inventory, vendors, and facility maintenance Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards Required Qualifications 5+ years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience ( 7+ preferred ) 2+ years of leadership (Supervisor, Lead Tech, Team Lead) Strong mechanical troubleshooting (motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes) Experience in manufacturing/production environments Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, diagrams Preferred Skills CMMS experience (work orders, maintenance tracking) Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program ownership Basic PLC troubleshooting Multi-trade skills (electrical, HVAC, compressors, welding) Experience in food manufacturing or small-to-mid-sized plants (10–150 employees) What We're Looking For Proven track record of reducing downtime & improving uptime/OEE Hands-on leader who can both manage and fix equipment Experience supervising 3–12 technicians in multi-shift operations Stable work history ( ~3+ years average tenure preferred ) Strong collaboration with production and operations teams
