Our client is seeking an experienced Respiratory Manager to lead the daily operations of an acute‑care respiratory therapy department. This role oversees clinical staff, ensures high‑quality patient care, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports the operational and financial performance of the department. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to coordinate services across patients, staff, physicians, and hospital departments. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance Requirements: Department Leadership & Operations Manage day‑to‑day operations of the respiratory therapy department to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Provide coaching, conflict resolution, and professional development opportunities for clinical staff. Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts; may provide direct patient care when needed. Clinical Quality & Patient Care Monitor and evaluate the quality of respiratory care delivered across all patient populations. Support interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, nursing, and ancillary departments. Maintain high standards of safety, infection control, and clinical documentation. Regulatory, Compliance & Financial Oversight Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies. Manage departmental budget, equipment procurement, vendor relationships, and supply utilization. Maintain accurate records, audits, and reporting to support regulatory readiness. Communication & Stakeholder Collaboration Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information. Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient‑centered work environment. Serve as a liaison between staff, leadership, and external partners to support smooth operations. Qualifications/Must-Haves: BLS required within 1 month of hire/transfer. ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer. PALS required within 6 months of hire/transfer. Certified Respiratory Care Therapist (CRT) or higher credential. Valid and current Arkansas Board of Respiratory Care license. Management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (experience may substitute) Experienced respiratory therapist with leadership experience in an acute‑care environment. Comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with occasional hands‑on clinical care. Strong communicator with the ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and support staff development. Knowledgeable in regulatory standards, equipment management, and departmental budgeting.
