The Environmental Science Evaluator is responsible for assessing environmental data, policies, programs, and projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to support sustainable practices. This role involves conducting evaluations, analyzing environmental impacts, and providing recommendations to improve environmental performance and regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in environmental science, regulatory compliance, and program evaluation. Key Responsibilities Evaluate environmental programs, projects, and policies for compliance and effectiveness Conduct environmental impact assessments and data analysis Review and interpret environmental regulations and standards, including those set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Prepare detailed reports, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders Monitor environmental performance metrics and identify areas for improvement Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws and guidelines Conduct site assessments, audits, and inspections as required Support sustainability initiatives and environmental risk management strategies Maintain accurate documentation and ensure audit readiness Stay informed on evolving environmental regulations, policies, and industry best practices Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, or a related field required Master's degree or professional certifications in environmental management or sustainability preferred Experience 3 to 6 years of experience in environmental evaluation, compliance, or related roles Experience with environmental impact assessments and regulatory reporting preferred Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to interpret scientific data and regulatory requirements Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills Compensation Annual Salary Range: $70,000 to $105,000 USD, depending on experience, education, and location Eligibility for performance-based bonuses Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays Flexible work arrangements including remote or hybrid options where applicable Employee wellness and assistance programs Professional development and certification support Life and disability insurance coverage Tuition reimbursement programs Work Environment This role may be performed in a hybrid based, or field environment within the United States.
